I am here!

SO after 2 days of living in St Louis, MO. I have put together a pretty nice room with a mini fridge, coffee maker, lots of food, and everything you could need except a printer, which every time I go to target I forget. Opps. Orientation starts Thursday, which starts a long year of school. SO excited...especially because i have a rental car until tomorrow. So tomorrow I use the metro for the first time.
I have a friend, and she is from my program and not one of the 3 security guards which are now my bestest friends and I know their whole history.
Found out that my human body dissection starts in 2 weeks. :/

wish me luck

Just a few more days...

I fly out on Saturday morning at 730am. I cant believe it is already here. Jonny helped me move everything out today so tomorrow I will officially be out of my apartment. I am so excited but sad to be saying goodbye to all my friends. 2 years is a long time to leave for- I hope people remember me when I get back. ha.

I get there Saturday afternoon and will move into my place which is Olin Residence Hall (Medical School Housing) which is located off of Scott Ave, St Louis MO. I have my own dorm room!! Thank goodness no roommates. My residence has a gym, study room, library, and lots of rooms. Very Exciting.

I gave myself a few days to get everything ready before I have to start orientation (Thursday) so I am going to work on my public transportation skills (buses and metrolinks). We will see how that goes. I have been looking at google earth all week trying to figure out the closest market and target- its definitely a change.

Keep in touch, Love you all

Amanda :D
